The system in this condo was designed to give our clients just the right amount of convenience and luxury.

Using Lutron’s RadioRa2 system, lighting and window shade control can easily alter the atmosphere to fit the home owner’s needs. It also provides a simple way to turn off every light when leaving the home.

Whenever possible, Home Connect’s designs conceal technology and allow the home’s design to stand out. In this home, we met those expectations within ceiling speakers, sleek TVs on the walls and all electronics stored out of sight in a ventilated system rack.

Home Connect started servicing the systems in this home when the clients came to us looking for a simpler and more reliable solution. As additional needs arose, we suggested upgrades that would provide the needed reliability. The upgraded Wi-Fi now allows music control throughout the property.

During a recent remodel, Lutron’s shades were used to provide privacy and reduce heat in the living space. Lights, also controlled by Lutron, are dimmed to coincide with the shades and set a relaxing mood. As always, the Lutron system allowed the home owners to eliminate unsightly light switches and keep as much technology hidden as possible.

During a recent pool and pool house addition, these home owners enlisted Home Connect to help integrate the technology in their new family-oriented space.

Working closely with their architect and builder, we made sure that wireless internet coverage reached all ends of the pool and even to the fire pit. Music can be heard while entertaining poolside, lounging inside or roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. While the large, flat screen TV catches your eye, no other technology is visible thanks to hidden speakers and an equipment rack kept cool and concealed in custom cabinetry.

This large New Albany home benefits from a Lutron Homeworks QS lighting system that controls the lights and shades in each room. Home Connect knew the advantages that lighting control would provide to the home owners, so we made sure to educate them as much as needed.

Additionally, designing a Lutron Homeworks system into a new build has the advantage of simplifying the numerous light switches that clutter the walls in great rooms and kitchens. A single, colormatched
keypad disappears into the decor and provides custom labeled, simple control.

As with all of Home Connect’s projects, the audio and video systems are as hidden and simple as the lighting system.

The technology in this home was designed by a former Columbus-based company. Before Home Connect was formed, Jon and Mike had the opportunity to gain the trust of the home owners while regularly maintaining the existing audio and video systems. When Home Connect was later founded, we were honored that this client chose to continue working with us.

In recent years, the home owners have updated their Wi-Fi system to reach all corners of this well-built and expansive residence. Surfing online and controlling music while poolside are both possible thanks to these various upgrades.

Over the years, these clients have trusted Jon and Mike with the technology in multiple homes. Their current residence required special attention due to the complexity of the remodel on a historic estate. Home Connect was careful to design a system that balanced simplified control with the robust systems that were required in the large-scale project.

We used Lutron’s Homeworks QS system in the remodel to simplify control and eliminate the confusion of multiple light switches. Entire sections of this large property can now be turned on, off or even dimmed by a single button press.
